Alex Petti and Annie Pulsipher participated in the last writer’s retreat of Discovering Broadway’s 2023 season. From November 1st through 5th, the creative team stayed at the Hotel Carmichael, Autograph Collection to workshop their new musical, “Trouble with Dead Boyfriends.”
A launch party was held during the writer’s retreat on November 2nd. To help us showcase this sneak peak, we brought out Broadway’s Emilia Suárez and Eric Wiegand to perform four of the show’s incredibly hilarious songs. The launch party’s attendees have already began generating a buzz in anticipation for the full concert coming soon.
The hilariously gory feminist musical following three monster-loving teens will premiere in concert at Newfields’ The Toby theatre on April 20, 2024 at 5 PM and 8 PM. Tickets on sale soon.
